I worked on this shot for Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium at Satellite Studios. I had to make these little Playmobile guys come to life. It was really fun to work on. This whole shot was done using XSI ( I still have trouble calling it Softimage ). I did all the modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, tracking and rendering. This is the full uncropped frame to give you and idea what the original plates were like. Compositing was done by Gregg Lukomski.

A test Trevor Harder and I did before I worked on a gazillion shots on “Snakes on a Plane” . Animating snakes gets quite boring after awhile.
All of the snake was actually done in Lightwave. If any of you have rigged in Lightwave before you know this type of rig was quite the pain. I currently prefer to work with Softimage and have done alot of animating in Maya as well.
Trevor Harder did the lighting, compositing and rendering. I modeled, textured, rigged and animated it.

Here is a still from a creature test I did at Satellite Studios. All done with Zbrush and XSI (Softimage). We wanted to test working primarily in an XSI (Softimage) environment for all the 3D work. I love XSI (Softimage). I really hope Autodesk doesn’t mess it up.
I designed, modeled, textured, rigged and animated the Sewer Creature. Trevor Harder did the lighting and compositing. Trevor Tang modeled and textured the rat. You can not see much of the backgrounds in this shot but they were modeled and textured by Trevor Tang and James Carver.

This was my first day out with my Canon 5D MkII. I was wandering through the bush behind my house and this Jack Rabbit popped up and ran past me. I basically just pointed in the general direction and pressed the button. It was a pleasant surprise to see how the shot turned out.

After a couple of years off from working with the band Whoosh we have decided to start a new band. At this time the players are Shannon Wegner (me) -vocals/guitar, Trev Tarhos – guitar/vocals and Myron Wegner – bass/vocals. We’re currently working on finishing our studio in our new location so we can get up to full speed writing and recording. We’re very excited about the project and can’t wait to share the new songs with everybody. We really want to get everyone who’s interested involved in helping us make decisions along the way. Right from choosing the name of the band all the way through choosing parts in songs.
We’ll be setting up a temporary website where we will live until we have established the name. I’ll be posting the information on this site soon and we can then begin taking suggestions for the band. If you have a magnificently creative idea burning a hole in your brain and you just can’t wait, feel free to comment me your name idea here. I will add it to the list.

Prince meets Lenny Kravitz is probably the best way to describe the sound of T Lyles latest cd Lyfe, Luv & Sex. He’s managed to mash together Hip Hop, Rap, Rock and old style R&B in a way that really works. This is by far T’s best cd yet. His vocals have so much energy and feel, it’s like he’s standing right in front of you. From old gospel sounding songs like Beautiful Day to the club pumping Pardy, you’ll find something to like in every song.
I have toured with T as his guitar player on and off for the last few years and it is always entertaining. He performs with an energy that even surpasses his cd. I think some days being in the band watching him perform is just as entertaining as being in the audience. We never know what to expect from show to show. We always have to pay close attention to where he’s going and what’s coming next. That and with him being 6’8″ I have to watch that his long arms don’t accidentally bap me in the side of the head while he actively entertains the crowd on stage.
